Friday Aug 25th between 8pm and 10pm, there were several Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks directed at one of our customers.  These attacks saturated all our circuits and at some points impaired parts of the backbone inbound into Lexington.  As of 10pm, we believe all the issues have been resolved.  We will be monitoring the situation throughout the night and will be removing the blocks put in place on the IP addresses that were the target of the attack.

There was a power outage at the Lexington office tonight.  The outage was between 12:30 am until 3:48 am.  This outage appears to have damaged our primary battery system.  The battery backup system has now has a fan failure error and a system failure.  We are not sure if it was damaged before or after the outage, but it was operating without error last week.
